DHARAMSALA: Two unidentified men allegedly gangraped a 46-year-old American woman in the tourist town of Dharamsala earlier this week. She came to India for the first time to explore tourism for one week.
A 46-year-old US lady was supposedly gangraped by two unidentified men in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, prior this week, as indicated by reports.
The police have enrolled a case under IPC segment 376 (assault) on the lady’s grumbling.
“I had gone to shop at a business sector on September 14 when two individuals assaulted me from behind,” ANI cited the lady as saying.In her protest, she asserted that she was medicated and assaulted on Monday evening, when she was coming back to her inn in the wake of obtaining basic needs from the close-by Kotwali market.
The California lady, who is on her first visit to India, had allegedly gone to Kullu and Manali before coming to Dharamsala.
“Spot assessment and restorative examination of complainant has been finished. The matter is being examined,” Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Renu Sharma told ANI.
