Pratyusha Banerjee, a young life actress who is famous for her work in Balika Vadhu as Anandi has committed suicide on Friday in her Mumbai residence by hanging herself. She declared dead in Andheri’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. New reports state that the cause behind this is her not so good going love life. Her investigation is going on in Goregaon’s Bangur Nagar police station.
Problems in her love life!
Reports say she was quite depressed by the way things are going between Rahul Raj Singh, her boyfriend and herself. They were in a serious relationship and had plans of marrying soon. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been taken for interrogation. Speculations are he cheated on her with his ex girlfriend Saloni.

After talking with Rahul, he stated that they used to stay in a 2 bedroom flat. They had 2 keys, 1 was with him and other was with Pratyusha. When he entered the bedroom, he found Pratyusha hanging from the ceiling. He got too scared and immediately called neighbors for help. He got too scared and so didn’t inform the police. After the doctor declared her dead, he called up her family and close friends.

Post mortem report says she died of asphyxiation
Strangulation marks were detected on the neck of popular TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, indicating death due to asphyxiation and hanging, according to a preliminary autopsy on Saturday evening.
Pratyusha’s last rites were subsequently carried out at the Oshiwara Crematorium in the presence of her tearful parents, other family members, her friends, actors and co-stars from the television industry.
