Newly Born Baby Was Left Hanging On Tree By Mother In Chilling Cold Weather

Does anyone do that to one’s heart ? How could anyone do that to her new born in such a cold weather ? How could a mother be so cruel? This was the question everyone had in the crowd that had gathered in Tulsimandi of Patna city.

Everyone was cursing the mother of that child who was born barely twenty four hours ago. This child was hanging on a tree in such cold weather the whole night. It was around 6.30 in the morning that a passer by Kartik Kunar heard a voice coming from a sack which was hung on the tree.

The condition of the child had turned critical due to freezing cold. Thus news had spread like fire in the forest in the colony. A lot of people gathered over the spot. Every person present there was in a race to embrace the child, the police reached there in the meantime.

Stating the condition to be critical, the new born was admitted to NMCH. The treatment of the child began under the observation of the head of child disease unit Dr. Alka Singh and the incharge of the unit Dr. B.P.Jaiswal. According to the doctors, the child is very weak. The weight of the child is 1.8 gms while an average child weighs from 2.5 gms to 3 gms.

The condition of the child worsened due to rising cold. This child is being treated in the ICU. The condition of is stated to be stable at the moment. The police tried to gather information about the child from the locals, but could not succeed.
