Imagine being hit by belts for quenching your thirst of water from a bottle that’s not yours. Sumit, worked in Mumbai, he was returning back from Patna on the Patna-Lokmanya Tilak Superfast Express at Jabalpur around 11 PM. Like any human being, he felt thirsty and gulped down two-three sips of water from a bottle that was kept near him. He could have asked but thirst might be uncontrollable. So he was punished in a manner no one can even imagine.
The owners of the sacred bottle assaulted Sumit for drinking water without permission and it was terrible. They didn’t stop at that only, they went a step further and pulled the chain, got the train to a halt, dragged him out of the train and tied Sumit outside between two windows. Things got worst when driver started started the train without knowing what’s happening and Sumit stood there hanging dangerously for four hours until the train finally stopped at Itarsi station, shocking everybody who stood there on the platform.
These men hit Sumit from belt and Sumit was kept screaming for help but no one came forward. Finally, the people at station came to his rescue and reported this incident to the RPF officials and has filed an FIR against them. All the accused belonged to Patna and were on their way to Mumbai and carried out this brutal act. Men like these dont deserve to be in society. Hope law do justice with Sumit and these criminals get what they deserve.
