A new brilliant initiative has recently gone viral throughout the world. The initiative is known as the black dot campaign.
The campaign has already reached more than 5 million people on the facebook page.
According to the campaign a black dot is drawn on a palm if you are seeking any kind of help from domestic violence. If you ever spot it on the hands of someone remember she/he is seeking help. And calling the police might be a good idea.
At ”BADLEGA INDIA” we have faith in this initiative as it can help a lot of people suffering from domestic and sexual violence.

According to a National Family and Health Survey in 2005, total lifetime prevalence of domestic violence was 33.5% and 8.5% for sexual violence among women aged 15-49. The instance of violence was reported to be lowest among Buddhist and Jain women, and highest among Muslim women in India. A 2014 study in” The Lancet” reports that the reported sexual violence rate in India is among the lowest in the world, the large population of India means that the violence affects 27·5 million over women their lifetime.
Most of the cases of domestic violence occur to women between the age of 21 to 45. And India where the rate of domestic violence is pretty high such initiatives can help a lot of women needing help.

We would also like to tell you that one of the facebook user named Jenn Hunton posted the initiative on her page and she got a whopping 57,000 shares on the post.
She also added in her post that the campaign has already helped 6 women around the world. And can be useful in helping many others around.
