Boyfriend Sets Ablaze Minor Girl After Raping Her In Uttar Pradesh

A minor girl was raped and burnt by her boyfriend in Tigri village near Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, The incident took place at the victim’s residence in the presence of her family members, when the boy came to meet her.

The accused Ajay Sharma, who is 18 years old came to meet her around 2:30 am and took her on to the terrace where he raped and set her ablaze before fleeing the spot.

Ajay has been arrested by the police on charges of rape and attempt to murder.

According to the girl’s parents, they had an affair from past few months and they also had words with accused’s parents about him harassing their girl and complained about it to them several times.

The victim was admitted in Safdarjung hospital, Delhi after sustaining more than 60% burns.
