An air of melancholy is surrounded India after their team’s loss in their T20 World Cup semi-final match against West Indies by 7 wickets.
But while the nation was expressing passionate grief for the defeat, Bangladeshi wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim was happy about it:
Bangladesh and India have always had an acrimonious cricketing relationship, which worsened recently when Bangladesh lost to India during the group stages.
Indian cricket fans didn’t bear Mushfiqur any ill will.
Mushfiqur I thought always looked a 10-year old. Now he tweets like one too. https://t.co/pNBqq83PuG

Mushfiqur celebrating India’s loss. Being a Bangladeshi this is the only way he can celebrate in a World Cup. https://t.co/nJ9taCCoAr

I did puke right before the last ball. Should have left some for Mushfiqur Rahim.

Rahim deleted the tweet soon after, but it was too late.
Mushfiqur Rahim is so classless he looks like a Marxist utopia #IndvsWI
