On March 13, Arjun Kamath posted the link of his new project on his facebook page ‘The Birthday Trip’ which is about a 18 years old girl Dia and she is going on her first ever road-trip. Your eyes will be on stalks as you watch the rest of the film, which is almost 11 minutes long. It’s heart wrenching and will definitely blow off your mind. Kamath also added a note stating, “For a better understanding of the film, please watch without any interruption from start to finish.” The video got 11,000 hits in just 24 hours. Well done Kamath!

Arjun Kamath is a Los Angeles based director, cinematographer, and photographer working toward an MFA in Film and Television Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. A two-time recipient of the Canon Creative Asia Photography Bronze award, Kamath just came up with his new short film ‘The Birthday Trip’. His recent photo narrative entitled “Avani,” which is a scream against patriarchy and will shake you to the bone ; it was shown on different social media and even lauded by the viewers. Having been an ardent lover of Bollywood films since his childhood, he hopes to direct a Bollywood film in the near future. Kamath has over 80,000 followers on his Facebook fan page where he regularly shares his artwork and visual samples.
