When I see birds living in a cage trying to cut the metal wires so desperate to be free, I sometimes think
Are we girls like these birds?
Has the society got a point? Are we over protected for our own good?
Do we need it?

But then, we are not some tropical toy birds bred for entertaining humans, incapable of self dependence, in an alien land unaware of the dangers that lay outside the cage.

We are individuals, we are educated, we are not playthings, we know what is out there and how are we going to learn if we don’t face anything? And why is the society so scared of what’ll happen to us.

Is the society itself incapable of self control or afraid of taking responsibility?

Even if something bad happens to us, it is they who hesitate to accept us. So are we still answerable to the society?
It’s time for us to shun the veil and take our responsibility in our own hands. If the culture doesn’t protect us, we also don’t have to protect it. We go out to study, to work so we can go out to party and for fun with our friends.

Keep those in your life who believe in you and don’t care for those who put ‘What will people say?’ before your views. Love the ones who love you and go to every depth to keep those relationships. Treasure the ones who consider your problems like their own and are sad when you are. Just give up the What will people/family/society/friends say? Remember you had a reason when you did something no matter how lame it was. It was your decision: wrong or right. Accept it and move on. You are awesome and don’t let someone else tell you otherwise.
