This incident is of Dankaur, Merrut, UP where a woman did something astonishing for her husband that that left everyone dumbstuck who was present there. This woman took her clothes off and went naked to save her husband who was getting beaten up.
The woman wore clothes only after getting surety form the police.
The woman said in her statement given to the police that a few rowdies have overpowered her piece of land of around thirthy squarefeet by force. A women organization was sitting on dharna from twenty days in front of the collectorate for this plot.
The couple made the allegation that on Friday the Panhchayat was there in the area to solve this issue. When the couple reached to the Panchayat, the people of opposition started abusing and beating them. After seeing her husband getting beaten up, the woman took her clothes off.
The panchayat made everyone calm and called up the women around to help that woman wear her clothes but the woman denied clearly that till the plot is not given to them, she will not wear her clothes. The police officials kept trying to cover her with a sheet for around three hours. The panchayat and the police while solving the issue assured the woman for giving her the plot. After the assurance only, she wore her clothes.
