I have seen a fraction of all the devastation human beings have caused to their own kind- some stories are much worse than the rest. But I have to keep my eyes and ears open, I have to continue being sensitive, I have to be the woman who can cry and be strong at the same time. It’s a hard life, no matter how “noble” it seems. So whenever a new person wants to join our NGO, we have a brief interview. I ask several routine questions, but I am mostly keen on just one of them-
