A month after getting married to businessman Nitin Chawla, who own several pubs in posh area of South Delhi 25-year-old model Priyanka Kapoor has allegedly committed suicide in Defence Colony. However, her family members have accused her husband of dowry harassment.
Priyanka died on intervening night of March 25-26, but the body was not recovered before Saturday morning. A complaint of dowry death has been filed against her husband Nitin Chawla, according to reports by NDTV,
According to Dainik Bhaskar, the police have arrested Nitin Chawla and have recovered a two-page suicide note, in which Priyanka mentioned being beaten up and harassed by her husband.
