India a country where Hero’s and movies are over rated and movies like Swedesh advertisements building blocks in seconds are like day-dreams, Eshan Balbale , made this #dream¬¬_come_true in the city of dreams.

Eshan is the student of XII commerce in Thane’s Bedekar College, the 17 year old ray of hope, when came to know about the Sathe Nagar kids walking their way to school through Industrial wastes every morning, was moved by their plight and was determined to help the budding future of India. After a lot of determined research and thinking, he decided to build a temporary bamboo bridge for these students.

Without any political help or selfish motive, without any corporate background, or strong influence, Eshan made the victory hope shine in the face of those little angles just in seven days. This 4-foot wide and 100 foot long bridge, connecting Sathe Nagar to PGMP colony, with a capacity of 50 people at a time, for those children, is no less than a time machine connecting them to future.

The words from the inspiring teenager goes like ‘They explained that crossing the nullah came with risks such as skin infections, malaria, dengue and other diseases. I felt terrible when I saw the children wade through the disgusting sludge. I spent most of my time in that area. I wanted the project to get over soon as possible for the benefit of the student.’

Eshan has meanwhile made us proud and inspired us that the young generation will stand on its own and the face of India will surely change for better.
