An 11-year-old boy was stripped and viciously beaten up before being forced to drink urine by his neighbour for allegedly stealing 30 kg of wheat at Sirauli village in Uttar Pradesh.
Victim’s family claimed that police did not register their complaint initially. But when they approached SDM of Mirganj Medha Rupam, an FIR was lodged. The incident took place on Tuesday, the SP Yamuma Prasad said.
The two accused were arrested, however later released on bail.
Circle Officer, Mirganj, Manoj Pandey said it is a serious crime and a probe will be held to find why the FIR was not registered promptly in such a serious matter.
Medical reports have confirmed serious injuries to Sunil who is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
Shame on the people who showed no compassion towards the young boy. Their solicitude might be longer in existence.
