Sing Vande Mataram Or Quit India: BJP Workers To Muslim Corporators





In Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district a shocking incident happened where BJP workers allegedly asked Muslim corporators to sing Vande Mataram or either “quit India”, as per the reports of Times Now.

This incident took place on 28th March, when the Muslim corporators affirmed that they were forced by the saffron party’s members to sing the national song during a Municipal Corporation meeting in Meerut.




Afzal, a SP corporator told Ani,”We respect Vande Mataram, but BJP corporators and mayor were literally forcing us to sing.”

He added,”The Supreme Court says it’s not mandatory.”

As well, according to ANI, the city Municipal Corporation has forbidden few members from attending the meeting because they refused to sing Vande Mataram.

This decree comes even when Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister promise that there will be no discrimination on the base of caste or religion in Uttar Pradesh and the ultimate goal of his government would be development for all countries.
