Girl killed in Kolkata and police suspects lesbian rejection could be the reason

KOLKATA: A teenage girl’s stabbed body was recovered from southeast railway colony on Thursday evening. Police is suspecting that a girl who was spurned killed her.

Around 7.15, the employer of the victim at BNR North Colony complained to the policehis domestic help who used to stay at the servants quarters was stabbed. She was removed to BNR Central Hospital where she was declared brought dead. “An investigation is on to find out the motive and the culprit,” said police. Additional OC (homicide section) and detective division photographers reached the spot.

The victim lived with her mother and four brothers and sisters. “She was repeatedly stabbed. We are suspecting a girl but she is still absconding,” said police.

Sources said that the accused had for long been pressurizing the victim to accept her as a lover. When the victim refused, the accused chased her out of her home and stabbed her repeatedly.
